Who We Are

Chords of Hope Youth Network is a vibrant, youth-led organization founded on the belief that sustainable change begins at the grassroots. Through our programs, we cultivate leadership, advocate for justice, and inspire innovation among Kenya’s young generation.

To empower communities through comprehensive support, education, and advocacy—breaking barriers and enabling young people to reach their full potential.

Our Focus Area

Transformative Areas for Community Development

We work across interconnected sectors to address the most urgent challenges facing young people in Kenya:

Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR)

We promote access to accurate information, youth-friendly services, and safe spaces for dialogue.
 Programs include:

  • School outreach on SRHR

  • Condom and menstrual product distribution

  • Advocacy campaigns on youth rights and health access

Mental Health and Wellness

We address the growing mental health crisis among youth by creating platforms for awareness, support, and healing.
 Initiatives include:

  • Peer-led support groups

  • Youth mental health champions

  • Community forums and training workshops

Mentorship and Youth Empowerment

We pair young people with mentors and equip them with life skills, vocational training, and leadership development opportunities.
 Programs include:

  • Leadership bootcamps

  • Internship placement

  • Youth innovation labs and dialogues

Climate Change and Environmental Action

We mobilize youth to be proactive agents of climate resilience and environmental sustainability.
 Our work includes:

  • Tree planting and clean-up drives

  • Climate justice forums

  • Youth-led advocacy in policy spaces

Youth, Civic Engagement & Governance

We strengthen youth participation in decision-making processes at community and national levels.
 Activities include:

  • Civic education workshops
